Choice DJ was founded in 2014 to fix what was broken about the DJ industry — agencies fobbing clients off with whoever was cheapest, DJs chatting over the music, and no real ownership of the night.
In 2019, David Cardoso took the company over and rebuilt it around a simple promise: it shouldn't matter which DJ from Choice walks through the door — the standard is the same every time. Professional, club-trained, planner-led, and unflappable.
Today we're a team of DJs — working regularly across the UK — all with a minimum of 20 years on the decks. Every booking is matched to the right DJ for the music, the venue and the room.
You don't book a name. You book the Choice DJ standard.

Choice DJ Founded
Choice DJ launches in the South East — built on professional, club-trained DJs who let the music speak for itself.
2019
New Chapter
David Cardoso takes over the company, expands the team and rolls out the personal online event planner that defines the brand today.
