London DJ Hire

Wedding DJ in London — club-trained DJs who know the rooms and the limiters

A collective of club-trained DJs covering the whole of Greater London. Weddings, corporate nights and private parties — full sound and lighting, proper mixing, no cheesy mic work, and 1200+ events behind us since 2014.

What London DJ hire should actually get you

Our DJs come from clubbing backgrounds, so the set is mixed rather than queued — one track into the next, tempo moving with the room, no dead air while someone scrolls a laptop. Before the day you fill in an online planner: must plays, play if possible, do not plays. We build the evening around your timings rather than a template, and the microphone gets used for the introductions you want, nothing more. On the night we read the floor. If the room wants disco at half nine and garage by eleven, that is what it gets. If a section isn't landing, it changes there and then. Full sound and lighting comes as standard, sized to the room. Uplighting and a photo booth are available as add-ons.

Sound limiters and curfews, handled

Plenty of London venues run a sound limiter — a unit that cuts power to the DJ's sockets when the room goes over a set level. Handled badly, it turns a packed floor into a dark room and a silent PA. Handled properly, you barely know it is there. We ask about the limiter at the planning stage, find the threshold and where the sensor sits, then build the rig around it: speakers spread wider and lower instead of one loud stack, output kept controlled, bass tight rather than booming into the trigger. We mix for it too. A limiter reacts to peaks, so the set is levelled to sit under the line instead of lurching at it. Curfews work the same way — tell us the finish time and the last hour is built to land on it.

Load-in, access and the central London reality

Central load-ins are their own skill. Timed access windows, a loading bay shared with the caterers, a lift that takes one flight case at a time, stairs in older buildings, and a van that has to be gone before guests arrive. We plan the day backwards from the venue's access rules, arrive early enough to set up and soundcheck properly, and keep the kit list tight where space is short. Congestion and emissions zones are costed in from the start, not discovered on the day. We have worked London rooms for years — hotel function suites, historic buildings, converted warehouses, marquee sites — and each has its own quirks around power, positioning and pack-down. If your venue has a preferred setup point, tell us early and we work to it.

Weddings, corporate nights and where we cover

Weddings are the bulk of the diary, but a good share of our London work is corporate — Christmas parties, launches, awards evenings, staff summer events — plus birthdays and private parties. Same DJs, same kit, different brief. We cover the whole of Greater London and travel anywhere inside the M25. South and south-east London is the ground we know best: Greenwich, Bromley, Bexley, Croydon and out towards the Dartford border. Our base sits just beyond the city, so the whole of Kent is covered too, and a London wedding with a country second day stays with the same DJ. If you're comparing DJs in London, ask about limiters, load-in and how the last half hour gets planned. That is where the night is won or lost.

Common questions

Before you book

Our venue has a sound limiter. Is that a problem?

No, but it needs planning. We ask for the limiter's threshold and where the sensor sits before the day, then set the rig up for it — wider, lower speaker placement instead of one loud stack, controlled bass, and a set mixed to sit under the trigger rather than bouncing off it. Handled that way, the limiter stays in the background.

Which parts of London do you cover?

All of Greater London, and we travel anywhere inside the M25 for weddings and corporate work. South and south-east London sits closest to our base — Greenwich, Bromley, Bexley, Croydon and across towards the Dartford border — but central and north London venues are regular ground too. Tell us the venue and the date and we'll confirm availability.

Do you cover corporate events as well as weddings?

Yes. Christmas parties, product launches, awards evenings, staff summer events and client entertaining, alongside birthdays and private parties. Same club-trained DJs, same standard of sound and lighting — the brief just changes. Corporate nights need tighter timings around speeches and presentations, so we agree the running order with your event lead well before the day.

Can guests make requests on the night?

Yes. Your planner sets the boundaries first — must plays, play if possible, and a do not play list we stick to — so a request that would empty the room never makes it on. Beyond that, the DJ takes requests and works them in where they fit the floor. If you'd rather requests came only through you, say so and we'll do that.

Tell us the date, the venue and the sort of night you're after, and we'll come back with who's free.
