We are based in Kent, so Medway is a short run for us rather than a long haul. That shows up in small ways on the day — an unhurried load-in, a proper sound check while the room is still empty, and a DJ who is not watching the clock at midnight. The five towns sit shoulder to shoulder, but the rooms inside them do not behave alike. Older buildings, and there are plenty around Rochester and Strood, often mean narrow access, stairs and a limiter on the wall. Newer function spaces in Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham tend to be wider and flatter, where the job is filling the room rather than squeezing into it. We ask about access, parking and power when you enquire, so none of it turns up as a surprise on the day.

Medway holds around 280,000 people, and the diary here is not all weddings. Fortieths and fiftieths in a function room. What you get on the night
Every booking includes a professional sound and lighting rig matched to the venue, a wireless microphone for speeches, and kit that is fully insured and PAT-tested — the paperwork a venue will ask for before it lets anyone plug in. Uplighting in your colours and a photo booth can be added if you want the room working harder. Planning is done online, in your own time. You build three lists: the tracks that must be played, the ones worth trying if the floor is right, and the ones that must never be heard. We go through timings with you before the date. Before you book
Which parts of Medway do you cover?
All of it — Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham and Strood, plus the villages around the edges and out onto the Hoo Peninsula. We also work across the rest of Kent, into Greater London and around the South East, so if your venue sits just outside the Medway boundary it is still very likely covered. Send us the postcode and we will confirm.
How far ahead should we book a DJ in Medway?
Sooner is better, particularly for a Saturday between May and September, when dates go early. Twelve to eighteen months ahead is common for weddings. That said, we are a collective rather than one person, so a late enquiry is always worth making — there is often a DJ free when a single-operator outfit would already be booked. Ask about your date and we will check.
Can we choose the music, and can guests make requests?
Yes to both. You fill in an online planner with three lists — the tracks that must be played, the ones worth trying, and the ones you never want to hear. Your DJ builds around that rather than working from a fixed set. Guests can request on the night too, and anything on your do-not-play list stays off, whoever asks for it.
Do you only do weddings, or parties and corporate events too?
All of it. Weddings are a big part of the diary, but we also cover birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, Christmas parties, staff events and awards nights across the Medway towns, plus regular bar and club residencies. Our DJs come from clubbing backgrounds, so a thirtieth in Gillingham and a corporate evening in Rochester get the same standard of mixing.
