West Kent Wedding DJs
We cover Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and the villages around them, and we're Kent-based, so it's a short drive either way. Club-trained DJs, full sound and lighting, and a dancefloor read on the night rather than run off a printed list.
Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge sit a few miles apart, and we work them as one patch because that is how they behave in practice. Couples live in one and marry in the other, or pick somewhere out in the lanes between the two. Being Kent-based means the drive is short at both ends of the night, so setup is unhurried, and if a venue wants us in early to work around a ceremony or a room turnaround, that is straightforward rather than a logistical problem. We are a collective of club-trained DJs, working since 2014, with 1200+ events behind us. The rooms round here are familiar ground — town hotels, country houses out towards the Weald, village halls and converted barns. Local knowledge means fewer questions on the day and fewer surprises in the evening.
The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells has a page of its own, and it is one of many rooms we cover across West Kent. The area throws up a wide spread of rooms — high-ceilinged historic spaces, converted barns, modern function suites — and each one behaves differently once it is full of people. What matters is asking the right questions in advance: where the power is, what the sound limits are, how the room is laid out after the meal, and when we can get in. If your venue is one we have not played, we speak to their events team before the date rather than turning up hoping. Some rooms run a sound limiter, and where yours does we plan the system around it rather than discover it at nine o'clock. Fully insured with PAT-tested equipment, so the venue's paperwork is covered before you have to ask for it.
A DJ who reads the room. Our DJs come from clubbing backgrounds — proper mixing, proper selection, no mic chatter and none of the cheesy routines that clear a floor. Full sound and lighting is included as standard, sized to the room rather than to a spec sheet. Uplighting and a photo booth are available as add-ons if you want them. Requests are welcome from you and your guests, and you can give us a do-not-play list that we will hold to. The aim is a dancefloor that fills early and stays full, which comes from watching who is dancing and adjusting, not from working through a set decided weeks ago. First dance, the run into the evening, the point where the room needs lifting again — that all gets handled on the night by someone who has done it hundreds of times.
Once you have booked, you get access to an online planning form. First dance, timings, the songs that matter, the ones that absolutely do not, who is making any announcements — it all goes in one place, and you can add to it whenever something occurs to you rather than saving it up for a phone call. Your DJ reads it before the date and comes back to you on anything that needs a decision. Before that stage, the simplest thing is to send us your date, your venue and a rough guest number. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit, and which of our DJs suits the event.

Common questions
Yes — both, and the villages around them. We treat the two towns as one patch because that is how they work in practice. Plenty of couples live in one and marry in the other, or use a barn or country house somewhere between the two. Wherever you land inside that area, the travel is short and the setup is the same.
We work across West Kent constantly, so the types of room are familiar — town hotels, country houses out towards the Weald, village halls and converted barns. Whatever your venue, we speak to their events team ahead of the date and sort access, timings and any sound limit before we load in, rather than turning up and working it out on the day.
Early enough to be finished and out of the way before guests see anything. The exact time depends on your venue and whether the room is being turned around after the meal — some places want us in before the ceremony, others give us a clear window later. We agree it with you and the venue in advance so nobody is improvising on the day.
Yes. Requests are welcome on the night and beforehand through the planning form. You can also give us a do-not-play list, which we stick to. Our DJs come from clubbing backgrounds, so requests get worked into the mix where they fit rather than dropped in and left to kill the floor.
Tell us your date and venue, and we'll come back with the DJ who fits it.
